Abstract

Many a time the news of a natural disaster like floods, cyclone and earthquake is followed by warning issued
about imminent threat of outbreaks of infectious diseases and the precautions to be taken. We also hear of advisories being issued by various governments to their citizens travelling abroad on the perceived risks relating to infectious diseases that could be contracted time to time.
